Volunteer with GBCI: Help Build Community & Nurture Hope
Can you spare 1 hour a week, or even 1 hour a month?
At GBCI, that’s all it takes to change lives. With the vision of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s “beloved community” as our guide, GBCI works alongside schools, families, and neighbors to create a community where fairness prevails, diversity is celebrated, and neighbors care for one another. Volunteers are at the heart of this work. In our 2024 survey, nearly every volunteer shared that their service gave them new perspectives, boosted their well-being, built friendships, and allowed them to use their skills for good. More than 125 volunteers of all ages now serve with GBCI, reaching over 615 children, families, and neighbors each year.
